2015 AQHA Mare

Hera is a sweet, 15-2H mare that was started as a 2 yr old...60 days riding out in the Idaho hills on a ranch...then caught her front legs in a fence and was turned out. Bred and foaled in 2021 but unfortunately lost the foal at 10 days old...that's when we bought her. We had xrays done on both front feet and she is 100 sound. As with any horse, regular farrier work will be the only maintanece she needs. No buck or schinanigans...she's really quiet and easy going. Pretty laid back, will walk all day and go when you ask...has a GREAT stop, moves laterally , she'll even do a little spin if you'd like :-) Hera is great on the trails, in a group or alone! She's done everything we've asked of her, smart and willing...she feels like a old pro on the trails! We've played around with ropes, tracking cattle and game events. A little sprucing up, and she'll be a jam up all around horse...or just leave her as is for a laid back, smooth riding trail horse!
