Words cannot express how proud of Swinger I am!! She has been a godsend and true blessing to me this year. She and I have accomplished things I have only dreamt about. Proof "dreams can come true!" Tonight she added yet another title to her resume: 2015 AQHA Jr. Barrel Racing Reserve World Champion!!! And bringing her season total earnings to over $80,000.00. I also placed 11th on FC Alleyway Ta Fame. I couldn't do it with out my "Team" (Amanda Caldwell Stacy Rene Tyler Rivette Cierra Rumfield Wade King) Thank you Ryann Pedone for raising her and giving me the opportunity to train such an amazing athlete!! And a huge thank you to my sponsors: Josh Harvey/Ashley Rice with Outlaw Equine, farrier Carl Sabin, Dale Steege with MVP, Jyme Nichols/Brock David Arnold with Bluebonnet Feeds, Tonda Collins/Geoffrey Litton with EquiResp, and Melanie Ward Melton with Allstate Ins. Congrats to all the other winners as well. Job well done!

This has been one "dream come true" for me at Old Fort Days Futurity! Hip Swingin Gypsy by Robyn Herring's FWOTR won the long go posting a 16.747 out of 400 entries. She won the FF sire slot race in the long go paying $25,000. She won the FF bonus money paying $2,843.75, thank you Mary Ellen Hickman. She won the TC 100 bonus money paying $1,250, thank you Jeanette Nelson. Banking just shy of $30,000, a beautiful custom headstall and breast collar by Western Dove, and a beautiful hand made bit for posting the fastest time. The finals were ran slowest to fastest as we had qualified. Making me run very last. After Jackie Jatzlau ran a smokin 16.49 I knew that most importantly I needed to make a solid run and see where it landed. "Swinger" gave it her all and made a great run posting a 16.602 ending up Reserve Champion. What I'm most proud of is that she won the long go and came back in dead last and we won 2nd!! I think that says a lot for her heart, try, and honesty. The reserve champion win paid her $22,878!! She won over $52,000 for her two runs!!! I have so many people to thank, who have helped me along this journey with her. Most importantly I could not do it without the support of my family, especially my sister Stacy Rene. She is the other half of the backbone of Pete Oen Barrel Horses. Special thanks goes out to Amanda Caldwell and Ryann Pedone. Ryann bred and raised her. My vet Josh Harvey with Outlaw Equine. Chiropractor Darryl Elliott. Acupuncturist Kathy Brown. Farrier Carl Sabin. My sponsors: Outlaw Equine, Jyme Nichols with Blue Bonnet Feeds, and Dale Steege with MVP and Exceed 6-Way. Last but not least thank you to Tyler Rivette for helping me all week, encouraging me and giving me confidence that we could do it... Thank you to the staff for putting on such a great event! I know it takes a lot of time and effort to pull this off. Cindy Orsbun Arnold Terry Leach Ted Wallis Christy Terry.
